# Make AI useful across the engineering team.

The AI Engineering Review examines how your team uses AI, where it improves the work and where it creates risk or inconsistency. The 90-day adoption programme turns that evidence into working practices the team can use and measure.

A few lines about the team and the outcome you need are enough. I’ll reply personally.

## When this is a useful starting point

You have AI tools, but good practice remains with a few individuals. Leaders cannot yet tell which workflows improve quality or delivery, or the team is unsure what data, tools and review standards are acceptable.

Tell me where the team is struggling and what you have observed.

## What the work covers

The review identifies what to change. The programme helps the team put it into practice.

### Current use and priorities

I look at how the team uses AI and which practices are helping. We use that evidence to choose the workflows to change first.

### Working practices and boundaries

We agree which tools and data the team can use, how to check AI-generated work and when human review is needed. I help the team apply those standards.

### Adoption and outcomes

During the 90-day programme, we assign responsibility for each change and help the team adopt it. We track whether delivery or quality improves, as well as whether people use the tools.

## Start with what you can already see

Tell me how the team uses AI today, where usage is strong or fragmented, and which outcome needs to improve. Include the constraints that matter: customers, data, security, review expectations or timing.

You do not need a finished brief or a tooling inventory to make an enquiry. We can discuss what evidence and team involvement are relevant to your situation.

## You’ll work directly with me.

I’m Dan Williams, a former founder, CTO and Head of Engineering at a YC-backed startup. Today I lead applied-AI work at Scale AI. The Startup CTO is my independent advisory practice.

I can work through the technical detail while accounting for the organisation, its constraints and the business decision behind the work.

## What needs to improve?

Tell me what you’re seeing, the outcome at stake and any relevant timing.
